Practical techniques for working with children

A one-day participative workshop led by Frances Trotman

Friday, 14th of March, 2008 from 10 am - 4 pm. Registration from 9:30

The workshop will cover

The main emphasis of the workshop will be on techniques that can be adapted for working with children in varied circumstances.

The situation of the child in the family and ways of working with parents will also be discussed.

The workshop is suitable for

Frances Trotman

Frances works as a freelance counsellor with a special interest in children. Her training sessions range from whole day courses for the LEA mentors and for trainee counsellors to informal sessions which are an opportunity for local networking. Her teaching experience included pastoral work from Year 7 to Sixth Form. She added Adlerian training to her post graduate counselling diploma and now works from an Adlerian perspective. She holds honours degrees from Cambridge University and the Open University.

Workshop fee

£65.00 (including buffet lunch). A £30.00 non-refundable deposit is required at application.
