Introduction to person centred art therapy skills

A one-day participative workshop led by Pamela Fletcher

Friday, 6th of June, 2008 from 10 am - 4 pm. Registration from 9:30

The workshop will cover

The workshop will have an emphasis on the experience.

The theoretical part will be tied specifically to the experience of imaging and how it to have that as a third element in the counsellor-client scenario.

There will be a demonstration and introduction of skills so that participants could get a feel of working with an image.

The workshop is suitable for

Qualified and trainee counsellors who are interested in working with art as a medium of therapy.

Pamela Fletcher

Pamela Fletcher has a degree in English literature and taught English in secondary mainstream for nearly 30 years. Alongside she gained a post-graduate diploma in counselling and psychotherapy. She studied and have practised psychotherapy from a Transpersonal perspective. She was trained in person centred art therapy with Liesl Silverstone. She is now training people in person centred art therapy at certificate and diploma levels.

Workshop fee

£75.00 (including buffet lunch). A £30.00 non-refundable deposit is required at application.
